At the end I had actually got used to:
chatting with my buddy everyday
big eggy breakfast
dreadfully cold tap water
smoking in the middle of the streets (well,at least 15 feet away from living creatures)
very loud regional transportation
24 hours wi-fi access for my kindle
visiting three record stores a week
no selfphone whatsoever
honey tasting sparkless beer; among others.
The plan of moving to N.Y. will maybe take a more defined shape soon.
Here an interesting chart by Google, which is kind of cool.

Oakland on wednesday
I misunderstand the level of acquaintance among people in her a lot....
Sometimes i believe that people know each other rather well but they are simply a customer and a client...just happened in the coffee place where I sit now...
People talk rather directly in here, though in friendly way...getting to the point seems the very first need and impulse to social interactions....
Amoeba
Went to the one down in san francisco!!!
Boy....oh boy...
I did stop before the jazz "section", which under normal circumstances would be a shop in the store itself...the dizziness i experienced half way through the shop is also unfrogettable...it looks like you could go ere twice a day...in the end you find so many records for 2.99 or 1,00...a dream...
Judah street and surroundings are amazing...could easily imagine myself living in there....
The ocean
At dawn, windy...smells great... a bar called the pork challet brews its own beer...
Finally went to the ocean from that side...sydney is definitely far away...in all senses...

In san francisco, drinking coffe and reading about possible ecological conversion...with new sunglasses bought yesterday in Berkeley at the fleamarket...if you believe it or not the stand where we got them is called "the black dude and the chinese lady". An awesome name and i am sure you all out there agree.
Work and Berlin and life in Europe are not as far as i would like them to get in the next tree weeks.

From Human Rights Watch
After Friday's carnage, it is no longer enough to condemn the violence. Faced with the Syrian authorities' ‘shoot to kill' strategy, the international community needs to impose sanctions on those ordering the shooting of protesters.

No cost for you in this case.

Self consciousness does not bring me resolution.
Conscious as I am of the deprecable state of my working activities and of my social life, I nevertheless do not get to the next step of taking active steps to counter act it...
A thousand thougts a day keep me company...I could be anything, I would like to be this or that or both, it is a matter of minutes and the version will change, the priorities slide away and the inaction increase...
Self destroying is it not, rather preserving my schizophrenic attitude towards myself and life in general...
I changed the layout of this aweful blog...until I learn to XHTML properly ( here used as a verbal form like google) there is nothing better I can offer...

Such a pity
Apart form reducing conversation to a series of click, and inducing people to be lazy surfers and to communicate with a shorter version of their shrinking communicative abilities, Facebook killed the habit of many of writing blogs...I just relaized that the few ones I still have hyperlinked on my blog do not exist anymmore since at least one year...
If you are not looking for a flat or a room in city other than yours, and if you do not want to play the mafia game or sell a toaster, well start typing sentences again, you know...those periods with subjects, verbs, descriptions and the subtle wish that the reader has some few minutes of patience to get through your thoughts for the good of feeling closer to somebody else...

Pissed in the metro in the morning
Reading the monday version of the International Herald Tribune this morning, I bumped into an article written where it was easily explained how it is completely impossible not to send troops to Afghanistan if you want to be a good ally of the US.
Not just to save the Afghani people but to keep ourselves safe and secure...
I cannt stand this rethoric anymore....someday somebody will need to explain us why all these military did not emprove the situation in the last 9 years....which are almost 120 months....
Have done with being so rhetoric, US media, and think that some people may see the Afghan war in a different way.

Diglielo tu che tornerĂł
Nilla Pizzi
Video Clip ante litteram
Vola, colomba bianca, vola,
diglielo tu che tornerá.
Dio del ciel se fossi una colomba
vorrei volar laggiù dov'è il mio amor,
che inginocchiata a San Giusto
prega con l'animo mesto:
Fá che il mio amore torni, ma torni presto.
Vola, colomba bianca, vola,
diglielo tu che tornerò.
Dille che non sarĂ piĂą sola
e che mai più la lascerò.
Fummo felici uniti e ci han divisi,
ci sorrideva il sole, il cielo e il mar.
Noi lasciavamo il cantiere
lieti del nostro lavoro
e il campanon din don ci faceva il coro.
Vola, colomba bianca, vola,

Rom rom rom rom....rom is definitely a woman, is definitely out of time, like the bunch of public clocks reminding you all the time when you walk around: you cannot found two of them telling you it is the same time...even if slightly different, the time they point is another....and in the end whether the time is slightly different or very different it is the same, so it is wrong to ask yourself too much....

A first list which I chose thanks to google news and thanks to the fact i did not read any of those books.
A second list, which I read myself in the last Economist issue.
There is also a third one, which gives a kind of too long list.
Or just listen to this for a second
