...yesterday I was in this one bar in Berlin where I deejay from time to time ( also a lot of records of yours) and was listening to some tracks, sipping Brandeburger beer...after the "Rebirth of the Cool" by your old chap Miles, your "Ballads" with your quartet made its come back in my ears...what a surprise! What an epiphany of warm sounds and smooth atmosphere...
Oh man, you cannot believe how happy and uniquely moved your music still makes me, even more when your tracks come unexpected...
I regret so much that I never had the chance to see you live, neither the chance to say that you were still playing by the time I am born...
